The Aleph Zadik Aleph Fraternity held a regular meeting at the “Y” Sunday. An interesting and unique program was given in the form of extemporaneous speeches.
The following members spoke on various subjects: Bernard Cohen, Harry Kaufman, David Brockman, Joe Sagaloff, Ben Lazurus, Jack Moskowitz and Joe Rosenweig. The program was followed by a short business meeting and was decided to hold a Smokeless Smoker in the near future and invite the young Jewish boys from various high schools as guests of the Fraternity.
The following committee was appointed for the Smoker: Nathan Mnookin, Chairman; Joe Lapin for Northeast; Sam Friedman for Westport; Nate Aaron for Central; Paul Vigden for Manual; and Paul Moss for Southeast High School.
Jack Moskoqitz, president, also appointed the following standing committees: Ritual, Philip Copland, chairman; Max Wolfe, Morris Sagaloff, Program Committee; Harry Levine, chairman; Paul Moss, Joe Rosenzweig; Property Committee: Morton Glass, chairman; Morris Adelman, Nathan Aaron.
An executive meeting of the Fraternity was held at the “Y” Tuesday evening.
