The Kansas City chapter of Aleph Zadik Aleph held a stag banquet Sunday, Aug. 4, at the Unity Inn following a regular meeting at Y.M.Y.H.A. The entire day was set aside as “A.Z.A. Pep Day,” and a pep day it certainly was.

At the banquet, Mr. Morris H. Sogolow, former physical education director at the “Y,” who is now assistant coach at the University of Illinois, was guest of honor. He was received very enthusiastically by all present and in response gave a very inspiring talk. (Sogolow was the head coach of Two’s 1925 AZAA basketball national championship team.)

Featured numbers were songs by Jack Moskowitz and Lewis Sutin, and in addition to these the many college boys present told of interesting incidents at college.

At the conclusion of the banquet, a line party to the Newman theater followed, and so ended the grand “A.Z.A. Pep Day.”
