Two's and Saadia reflect on anniversary of Oct. 7 terrorist attacks
Saadia BBG joined Two’s AZA on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2024, for a six-fold program at Mitzvah Garden KC. The chapters held a program to commemorate the 1-year anniversary of the October 7th terrorist attacks in Israel, then helped harvest produce in the Mitzvah Garden.
Two’s AZA: ‘If I Had The World To Give’
On Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024, Two’s AZA members volunteered at Mitzvah Garden KC. Two’s is volunteering at Mitzvah Garden the first Sunday of every month this year as part of its campaign to end hunger in our community. Mitzvah Garden is a volunteer-supported, nonprofit garden with 100% of its harvests going to local food pantries like After the Harvest, Safe Home and Jewish Family Services Food Pantries.
Two’s AZA and Esperanto Peace Treaty
At SRC 2024 in Overland Park, Kan., Two’s retured “The Wood” to Esparanto AZA. According to myth, “The Wood” was burned in a furious fire many years ago…. However, “The Wood” is alive and well and was returned to Esperanto as part of a peace offering and “new beginning.”
