Two’s AZA headed to Brookside Sept. 15 to the home of Aleph Judah Bassin for a Kansas City Chiefs watch party. The brothers enjoyed a hot dog lunch and watched as the Chiefs beat the Bengals 26-25 thanks to a late 51-yard-field goal by Harrison Butker. The program was Two’s first chapter program of the year.
At halftime of the game, Two’s AZA held a football game of its own, with quaterbacks Eli Nathan and Bryan Persky as captains. Team Persky — consisting of Bryan Persky, Jason Persky, Shaefer Spizman and Micah Kramer — were victorious. The losing team consisted of: Eli Nathan, Beckett Hodes, Judah Bassin and Rex Hebberd. Josh Snitz and Daniel Nevat did not play. The game served as good practice for AZA No. 2, who will be competing against Nordaunian AZA in flag football this fall. The starting quarterback position is still up in the air, with Nathan, Persky and Bassin all putting up strong performances.
