A broadcast of a dramatic sketch, “The Story Behind Purim,” will be made Sunday morning, March 8, at 10:30 over station W9XBY by the A.Z.A. Chapter No. 2. Lester Peltzman is directing the air-presentation, the cast of which includes Leonard Belove, Selma Baker, Barney Goldberg and Mr. Peltzman. The radio broadcast inaugurates a series of cultural programs which the Alephs of Chapter 2 will stage during March.

On Monday evening, March 9, the chapter will present a symposium, “The Answer to the Anti-Semite,” before the local B’nai B’rith organization. On March 27, in observance of International A.Z.A. Sabbath, a Friday night service will be held at the S.I.D. synagogue, Ninth and Olive. It is being arranged by Morris Lerner.

A reunion of returned veterans, alumni of A.Z.A. chapter No. 2 and an installation of officers will be held at a stag party to be given in the Lodge Room of the Jewish Center Wednesday, March 20, at 9:00 p.m. Dave Zeff and Richard Rubins are in charge. Alumni of the chapter should contact Zeff at 1145 Southwest Blvd.

Three delegates were chosen for the CYS convention. They are: Harold Penner, Robert Gluck and Norman Baellow. A bowling stag will be held Saturday, March 9.

Norman Magida has been named an adviser.
