Sutin will arrive Tuesday, December 22, from the University of Illinois to spend the Christmas holidays with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Sutin.

Approximately 150 A.Z.A. chapters throughout the country are engaging in tournaments in basketball, debate and oration during the last two weeks in December. The tournaments are being staged, In the various A. Z. A. regions, in conjunction with conventions.
Winners In debate and oration in the regional tournaments are eligible to participate In district contests which will determine those who will vie for national honors at the annual national convention in California next summer.
Kansas City is the tournament site for the western region, which contains the states of Missouri, Kansas and Colorado. Local chapters, No. 2 and 200, hosts of the meet, have selected the Center as headquarters. Contests, business sessions and number of social evets will be held there next Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The convention closes Sunday night with a banquet at the Ambassador hotel. Nathan Stein, Dave Minkin and Jack Louis comprise the committee in charge of arrangements for the western region conclave and contests.
An adviser’s conference is also part of the program. Jack Brown, field secretary of A.Z.A., (and Two’s alumnus) will preside at the meetings of advisers from 20 chapters.
The debate subject is : “Resolved, that the Principle of Public as Opposed to the Private Ownership of Land in Palestine be Encouraged.” Orations deal with notable Jewish figures of recent history.
Contestants from the two Kansas City, Mo., chapters and the Kansas City, Kan., chapter (22) are ready for the opening round Friday.
