Miss Sarah Sarofsky, Camean Society, was unanimously elected president of the organization. The other officers are: Albert Coppaken, Sholom Aleichem Club, vice president; Miss Esther Brenner, Camean Society, secretary; Philip Klutznick, Aleph Zadik Aleph, reporter-critic and sergeant-at-arms. The following committee to make arrangements for the installation of the new officers was appointed: Max K. Wolfe, A.Z.A., chairman; Miss Sophie Risberg, Merit Ti Tanic; and Jack Eisberg’s Re-Inn. The installation will be held October 15th.
As a result of a speech by Mr. Herman Passamaneck, Advisor of the Organization, in which he urged a complete re-organization of the Council, steps were taken toward that end. Miss Sarofsky appointed the following committee to draw up a new constitution: Joe Rosenweig, Sholom Aleichem, chairman; Irving Ungerman, Alfred Benjamin, and Albert Coppaken, Sholom Aleichem.
